Phosphorylase
Phosphorylase
Product Description

The phosphorylase may add a phosphate group to the acceptor upon consumption of a phosphate donor (such as adenosine triphosphate: ATP).
Because adenosine triphosphate is relatively expensive and used in large quantities, such reaction systems are often introduced into a recycling system to minimize the amount of adenosine triphosphate used. The ATP cycle regeneration system is generally composed of polyphosphate kinase and polyphosphate.
